Hands on the helm, lines in your hands, a skipper there to teach not just sail. Women only — no men on board, by design. Pitched for first-time and refresher crew who want to actually learn the boat, not just sit on the bow.
A focused 5–7 day training week, somewhere in the Med (destination TBC), where the whole purpose is to build sailing skill. Anchoring, mooring, helming under sail and engine, sail trim, basic navigation, weather, MOB — the things every crew member should be able to do after a week aboard.
Same Drake Supper Club hospitality (good food, better wine, fancy dress night) — but the days are structured around teaching, not just touring.
Two specific past Drake trips with all-female crews ran particularly well — the dynamic on board, the willingness to ask questions, the pace of skill pickup. Several guests asked us to run a training-focused version with the same ground rule baked in. This is that.
Gathering interest. Date, destination, and the exact skill ladder are all flexible — we’ll shape them around the people who want in. If you’d like a spot, tell us — that’s how we’ll pick the week and the base.
